About 5 months ago my obnoxious neighbor brought home a pet monkey (honestly don't know the species)and let it roam the neighborhood as it pleased. I cannot tell you how many neighbors complained of having their gardens ransacked by this monkey. Most people shrugged it off because they thought it was funny. I don't have that kind of sense of humor, I guess, because when the ape made its way into my garden I shot it twice (two times) in the face. My neighbor threatened to sue initially so I lawyered up. My lawyer pointed out that a special license was required to own simian pets (which my neighbor didn't have). Fast forward to today. He has apparently found a way to sue me for discharging the firearm (not necessarily at his monkey). Does he stand a chance? Peace.
