If you’re looking for a pocket camera image quality is reasonably high, which allows control of aperture, speed and focus and shoot in RAW format, that’s all. I bought mine as an upgrade from a previous small but versatile camera, a Canon Powershot S70.

The Powershot S95 was introduced in August 2010 as a slight upgrade from the S90, which was widely praised for its excellent image quality and the interface to criticize but difficult to maintain (as a bar of soap in the shower “) and to have a control dial that became too easy. The S95 fixes problems and adds a couple of features in a package that suits other in the pocket of your jeans (if not super hard). The case is metal, and although there is no finger grips on the body is not slippery at all. It feels as if it were covered with sandpaper super-thin (like 1000 or 1500 grain, which for those who know what feels).

The second main reason for the S-90 was that the selection function ring on the back too easily moved. Ring in the S-95 has a slight click when it moves, and does not move unless you want. PowerShot S95 is a great deal

There are a couple of other cameras in this class, including the Panasonic LX and LX-3-5 TL500 and Samsung. Have they let you control all camera functions, such as the S95 and 10 MP sensors they have that are almost twice as large as a typical pocket camera, so that pixels on the sensor are larger. Allowing them to more efficiently collect light, which reduces digital “noise” when shooting in low light. The image quality is noticeably better than pictures of typical pocket cameras. You can do an 8 x 10 or 11×14 enlargement Perhaps, in spite of a digital SLR will be much better for larger prints. They also have their WIDESTAR in angle lens f/2.0, but closes the opening as the zoom in

The Canon has two advantages over the Panasonic LX-3 and LX-5. First, you can actually put it in your pocket or belt in a case no bigger than that using a mobile phone. Second, the interface is a brilliant rethinking of how a tiny camera with a full set of controls should work. Not much space for the buttons in the small area, but you do not have to enter a multi-level menu on the LCD screen, and yet change is fast and intuitive configuration.
For example, a ring around the lens grip you can easily control the zoom, or shutter speed or aperture, changing the ISO, or manually focus. Select what you want by pressing a button on the top, and when you look at the LCD screen you can see what is the program. There is a selection wheel on the back of other functions, and when you move it to clear in September of options appears on the screen. If the selections appropriate to the context, to change depending on whether September, the camera aperture control, “program” in control, etc.

Canon PowerShot S95 10 MP Digital Camera with 3.8x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch inch LCD

The Panasonics two are the same as the equivalent of Canon’s sensor, but slightly wider to provide a lens (24 mm vs. 28 for the S95). The LX-3 has a much shorter telephoto lens – only 60 mm. The LX-5 s, which introduces WAS couple of weeks before the S95 has a 90 mm telephoto lens, and you can buy an add-in optical viewfinder. It also has a hot shoe for flash, plus pop-up flash, but you can buy a dedicated flash plugin for the S-95 to complement its pop-up flash The LX-5 is 25% more expensive than the Canon S95 (and 60% more with the optional display) and, while it is in a jacket pocket, you can not stuff in a pocket.

If you want a truly pocket camera that gives good picture quality and full control over your photography, the S95 is an excellent choice.

I bought these socks when I started training for a marathon. I’m about 3 / 4 way through my training and I wear socks every time I have a greater distance (12 + miles) run. They are very good. I have had problems in the past with traditional running socks, getting blisters between the toes, nails and bruised. Since taking these socks, I’ve had less bruising, blisters and not at all. I will buy more if I continue to run away after you finish this training program and run the marathon.

LA Noire available for XBox and PS3

LA Noire is a very good game for the player who likes to be analytical, gather clues and discover things. It’s slow pace as police work is usually, but also very rewarding. Technology Scouting movement in this game is fantastic, and I see being built in future versions of completely different games. The ability to read an expression actors is undoubtedly promote a new paradigm in games that just has not been run before with no success. Team Bondi offers here.

The story in this game is not something new. Allow the user to be a police officer and a good one, is mostly new. There is almost an RPG like feel of the game, with dialogue long as you are questioning people. This may come off as boring to some, but I assure you the scenes are just filler. They are fun, interesting pieces, part of the whole story.

The game is still an open world concept, and you can navigate and explore the beautiful old city that Team Bondi’s LA set. There are also a number of side quests you can do.

I gave a 4 out of 5 because the game can be a bit redundant at times. Do not worry, the story gets varied, but some cases are very similar. The other reason I took a little off the end result is that there just is not much room for replay value here. Inevitable extension short game you can buy from Xbox Live, there will be many reasons to return once he was beaten. I had put the game in about 15-25 hours. This does not take into account the amount of time devoted to the exploration of distance from the main storyline and side quests.

LA Noire is definitely worth your collection. Hopefully we will see more Team Bondi evolution produced by Rockstar.

Bestselling authors Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen present another joyful collection of stories for your reading pleasure. Within the pages of A 3rd Serving of Chicken Soup for the Soul you will find shining examples of the best qualities we all share as human beings: compassion, grace, forgiveness, hope, courage, dedication, generosity and faith.

When they tout this series of Chicken Soup books as “Stories To Open The Heart And Rekindle The Spirit” they are not kidding! I have the first three Servings, and have the fourth on order. I read them cover to cover, laughing, crying, sighing. I can’t bookmark any one page because almost every single page is great, and can be related to my life or referred to others to help in their lives. It is a book on life’s perspectives… These two men hit the nail on the head everytime with the book’s entries. I can read the book cover to cover, and find myself going back a day or two later, and re-reading one or more of the stories, as it relates to my life. I would recommend this book to everyone, young and old alike. It is truly a book, and a series, for everyone!!

A 3rd Serving of Chicken Soup for the Soul is a collection of heart-warming stories, which is written by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor. All the stories in this book are true stories. Some of the many different subjects in this collection include, love, parenting, teaching and learning, death, and a matter of perspective. There is a subject for everyone to enjoy and come to understand. These books can help you cope with many things because you realize how many people have gone through this also. There is no boring part to it because all the stories are short and to the point. Kenny Loggins said, “I always take Chicken Soup on the road with me. It can turn a blue night alone in a distant hotel into a mini retreat-quick and easy to fix.” This statement is true because when you read it in your house or anywhere else it transports you to another place, and puts you in the scene of the action. Anyone who is looking for something enjoyable to read should read this book because there is something for everyone.

Each year I look for the perfect gift to give my mother, and each year she tells me my love is enough. My most special gifts are the stories of the lives we live along with our family and friends. Jack Canfield and Mark Hansen have captured feelings and pieces of my own life. What more could a mother want than sharing lifes moments with her child, knowing they will live forever in a book. I am sure whoever reads this book, or other books written by Canfield and Hansen will have to agree. There are stories in each book that hit very close to home or you feel someone has been looking inside your heart. Truly a book that can be read again and again and bring a smile to your face and a tear to your eye. I feel sure A 3rd Serving of Chicken Soup for the Soul will be a welcomed gift, that is if I ever get it wrapped! Paulette Burk

A tool set for your dad

The Stanley 65-piece homeowner’s tool set is packaged in a blow molded case for easy tool storage. All tools in the kit meet or exceed ANSI specs. The hex key sets come in durable caddies to keep keys organized, one for SAE keys and a separate one for metric. It includes full polish ratchet and sockets for easy cleaning and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

You’ll have the right equipment for every job with this convenient, 65-piece hand tool set. Weighing less than 10 pounds, the black case with built-in handle includes a hammer, a wrench, pliers and a screwdriver set. Allen wrenches and a ratchet set are also included.

Technical Details for this tool set

Set packaged in blow molded case for easy tool storage.
Tools meet or exceed ANSI specs
Hex key sets come in durable caddies to keep keys organized, one for SAE keys and a separate one for metric
Full polish ratchet and sockets for easy cleaning
Limited Lifetime Warranty

Stanley is definitely a descent brand and this tool set is pretty enough for everything i need. The only thing I want to complain a little is you need t a screw driver to open this tool set. (If I had a screw driver, I may not need to buy a tool set!) Other than that, that’s all fine!

If you’re just a normal person who uses a telephone to call a repairman more often than a tool set, this one is perfect. It has everything, and it feels solid and will hold up perfectly well under easy use. The master handyman had better upgrade a bit. Closing the top without pieces falling out is an art that can be mastered.

Get Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 at a bargain price

Those familiar with Photoshop might wonder why an additional product should be needed to manage digital images. I would offer this difference: Photoshop is a program for image manipulation; it’s for folks who want to change their photographs or create new substance in an image. Lightroom is a program that, primarily, expedites photography workflow. [By using the term "workflow," I don't mean to imply that it's geared only to those who are in the profession of photography; amateurs and hobbyists alike (like I am), who also wish to prepare quickly and print images, can benefit from this highly-practical and time-efficient program.] You can “tweak” pics very nicely with Lightroom, but Photoshop‘s the paragon for substantial alteration.

Lightroom 3 simplifies enormously the process of preparing photo captures for use, whether as web or print applications. It facilitates quick organization & preview, raw enhancement, printing, and web uploading of photos.

The discount you were looking for Photoshop

The “library” module permits quick organization of picture groups. The amazing, work-saving catalog system allows rapid naming, labeling & flagging, copying, metadata editing & review, and filtering of files, then presents a robust preview for easy access to the rest of the photographic workflow. A stellar feature of the file handling is the (relatively) low memory burden placed on computer RAM — most all of these activities originate from small files that make good use of the .dng formatting.

The “develop” module contains all of the necessary controls to adjust exposure, correct lens aberrations, establish a good white point to remove color casts, manipulate color and grayscale attributes, crop, retouch discreet areas of a photo, and, generally, to perform all the actions of an after-the-fact camera, insofar as these are possible, to improve the raw (proprietary or .dng) images that come from a digital source. White point color correction is particulary easy – and requires only a few skillful mouse motions (as opposed to Photoshop, in which color correction is either mindlessly automated or involves multi-step curve adjustments). One very fine feature in Lightroom is the ability to create instantly a “virtual copy” of your photo, which you can edit, change, enhance, etc. — all without altering your original file.

The “slideshow” module lets you combine photos into a presentation for automatically viewing a sequence of photos as slides. Text can be added, as well as an intro slide and a conclusion slide. You can even add a music file to the background of your presentation, and the program will automatically time your slideshow to the length of your music clip. Slideshows can then be downloaded into a variety of different video formats (including mp4, which I use most frequently).

Finally, the “print” or “web” modules expedite the last-step output to the desired final product. There’s a marvelous preview of your photo presented prior to the actual printing. Multiple photos or copies of the same photo can be easily grouped and previewed on a single sheet for cost-effective printing. Downloading to the web is a cinch. There’s even a feature to upload your photos automatically to a Flickr account and (in the updated version) to Facebook.

Though a learning curve is associated with attaining mastery of Lightroom, I think the controls are quite intuitive. As a virtual neophyte who has had the product for only a short time, I’ve been able to output some very satisfying images to my printer.

I’ve been an Adobe fan since the dark ages of computer imagery in the 1980′s, and this product once again confirms their hegemony in the realm of computer graphics.

Conclusion: Lightroom 3 is a highly recommended program for those who like to snap and publish digital photos.

You can have a butterfly in a jar forever!

I found this on a total whim in a gift shop and loved it so i had to take one home with me. Now I want to get more for all my friends to enjoy, what a clever idea! I feel too mean to keep a real butterfly in a jar, but it is surprisingly realistic.

It looks like an old canning jar, which makes it just that much more realistic. The sides of the jar are textured balls and a jar that is, with the “brand” and measurements. At first I thought it was a shame, it might be able to see the butterfly better without the elevated parts of texture in the glass, but then I realized this helps make it more real and also distracts the eyes of the little thin wire that powers the butterfly.

Tap the jar to make the butterfly in a jar fly

As you tap on an insect in a jar to get it to move, to touch this one to start the animation of the butterfly. As I said – so real! It has several different rotations of movement: shaking, waving his wings, and is still sometimes slowly, while the opening and closing its wings. Just like a real butterfly could vary their movements, this is done well. You can even hear tinkling against the glass.

The first time you get your wing, make sure to change the demo mode for completely unscrewing the cover and replace the switch. You can change the batteries when needed, but warned that the manufacturer will attempt to remove the animation module under the lid (you can see if you have the jar over his eyes, but generally remains well hidden below the metal screw-top lid.) Mine came with batteries already exist, without buying or installing it myself.

Not only * I * I love the butterfly (now part of my spring centerpiece on my dining table, ready to charm guests when they come), which has also been fun to show my two years and also my cats have had so much entertainment with just sit and watch! I think this is a very creative gift and is perfect for almost everyone! I’m excited to introduce this fun little idea of ??my friends and family is too cute and sweet.

Powered by three AAA batteries (supplied with the throttle), the “Butterfly My” product is a unique feat of microelectronics. Each time you touch the glass bottle you can see “My Butterfly” window, flap and flutter. No need to turn off, batteries last on standby for months ready for a touch of awakening. It can be awakened by the noise.

Gently tap the bottle once and for instant action! One after willl touch up your butterfly, two touches are three taps will fuss and flap around in the glass bottle. The butterfly is also activated by ambient noise and music. No need to turn the page “My Butterfly” was, batteries last on standby for months ready for a touch of awakening.

Everybody will want a butterfly in a jar that lives for ever.

Thanks to the wonderful invention of Blue Ray fans of “The Twilight Zone” Now you can enjoy the series in fine condition, pristine. In this series all 18 episodes of season 4 (BLUE RAY RELEASE MAY 17, 2011) have been restored from original prints study. I have both the complete series on DVD and compared with the blue rays that have been made available and the difference is remarkable: the print is even more dynamic and appealing, and it is as if the characters come to us on the screen. Another great asset for the purchase of the blue rays are the additional bonds are not included in the DVD editions.

The fourth season of “The Twilight Zone,” began in January 1963 after being canceled by CBS in the spring of last year. It replaced the show had been canceled by so-called “Fair Exchange.” To fill the slot after CBS brought Hout “The Twilight Zone” back in an hour quotas, so even fewer episodes of season four were shot that extended beyond the normal thirty minutes running time . Creator Rod Serling hated the new format of the time when he felt that the writers had to write stories way beyond its value to fill an hour of primetime programming.

The list of special bonuses for this particular Blue Ray include 13 new audio commentary from “Twilight Zone Companion” writer Marc Scott Zicree and other supporters and critics of the series. All bonus DVD also included here, and include interviews with guest stars as Anne Francis Morgan and Brittany, 7 dramas, the scores of isolated incidents select, and more.

The following is a list of season 4 of “Twilight Zone” episodes, along with the date of issue;

Amazing Stories remember seeing every week when I was a child.

Rewatching Amazing Stories episodes on DVD brought back many memories for me.

Season 1 is usually a clear winner. There were some episodes I found it quite boring, but there were many more I loved it. My personal rating in the episodes of season 1 are:

9.10 1 Ghost Train ~ Great series opener. Steven had Spiellberg magic touch over it.
2 The main attraction ~ 8.10 rather clever episode.
3 Alamo Jobe 06.10 ~ ok episode. A bit boring
4 Mom, Dad 10.10 ~ This was the first masterpiece, in my humble opinion. Great episode hilarious!
5 The Mission ~ 10/10 if Mom Dad was the first comic masterpiece, the mission was Frist’s dramatic masterpiece.
6 The Amazing Falsworth ~ 8.10 very good, the story of suspense
7 Fine ~ 10.07 notch little cute and kooky, but not exceeding
8 Mr. Magic 10.7 ~ another pretty good episode, but not first class
9 5.10 ~ guilt trip not one of my favorites, I was bored enough with it.
10 The man on the remote control 10.5 ~ another below average episode for me
Santa ’85 8.10 ~ 11 considering that there are episodes Santa too many topics on television to tell, this time it was very nice
12 Vanessa in episode 10.10 ~ beautiful garden. Exquisite.
13 The Sitter 10.8 ~ I found this very funny episode.
14 No day at the beach 10.8 ~ this is the second “war” episode Theme (The Mission was the first), and although not as good as The Mission, which is still very good
15 One for 5.10 one way below average.
Collect 16 10.3 acorns You really did not like this at all. I guess I’m being generous by giving it a 3.
17 Boo! 10.8 ~ Cute episode. It reminded me of Beetlejuice (Spirit of life in the attic trying to get rid of Tennants new)
Dorothy and Ben 18 10.10 ~ another beautiful episode.
19 Mirror, Mirror 10.10 ~ absolutely first class and the first episode to scare me silly. Better than some of the “horror” movies of the modern era.
Secret Cinema 6.10 20 ~ Ok episode reminded me of The Truman Show
Hell Toupee 10.1 21 ~ this is by far the worst episode, in my humble opinion. Comparing HT to an episode like “The Mission” is quite laughable.
22 10.10 ~ Another doll episode beautiful, exquisite. John Lithgow probably gave one of the best performances of the first full sesason.
One of the books 23 10.4 ~ what a let down after “The Doll”.
Grandpa’s Ghost ~ wonderful ending 24 10.9 Season 1

With the exception of a few, I thought that most of the episodes were definitely above average. Likewise, the impressive list of guest stars: Kevin Costner, Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland, Gregory Hines, Sam Waterston, Harvey Kitel, and of course, John Lithgow, to name a few, gave the audience the feeling they were watching a mini -movie every week.

Also for me, I find so appealing Amazing Stories is a show for the whole family can watch and enjoy together, which is becoming rarer and rarer these days. I highly recommend Amazing Stories for your DVD collection.
